We celebrated April Fool's around here with a fun science experiment...ooey, gooey, glop! Using just cornstarch and water we created an amazing mixture that behaves like a solid and a liquid at the same time! This goop is otherwise known as a Non-Newtonian substance. We skimmed our fingers across the surface, we poked it, we pulled it up, we thought it was a solid (April Fool's! It ran out of our fingers like a liquid =). We also squeezed it in to a ball and watched it slime it's way back in to the pan once the pressure was released. We even slapped the surface waiting for it to splatter but no it stayed right in place-with a sigh of relief from Daddy-he hates our messes that we make. But it was still too cool!
I just love how Mia says 'ohh' at the very beginning!
