4th of July: American Symbols

 Oh My....It's Time for the 4th of July!


That's right....it's July 1st so I can officially start dressing these coordinating cuties in Red, White & Blue!!!
Now for the Tot School:

Today's Learning Activities focused on American Symbols:

Amelia's Activities:

Sorted colored beads using a spoon
Counting Cards. This activity is 2-fold as well! Counting and Fine Motor Skills. Amelia used a clothes pin to pinch the pom-poms and then place on the correct numbed. She thought this was soo much fun...which is what Tot School is all about!

Identifying the letter 'F':

One of my favorite handprint crafts...I just love handprint art & how it documents Amelia's darling little hands! Today we are focusing on America's Symbols. So here is a Bald Eagle brought to you by Mia's hands 

Bald Eagle Finger Puppet going for one last flight before bed =) And yes the bird is blue not brown....some little girl used all our brown pipe cleaners for an 'art project' and didn't tell me they were all gone =)
