THEORY-VOLCANOES:
This Magic Volcano was sooo much fun!!

While the volcano was bubbling, Amelia started filling out the Dinosaur Extinction Theories paper:

Theories: Volcanoes & Meteorites:

The Volcano keep bubbling away...and it looks like something it peeking out =)
 Dinosaur Counting Wheel:

THEORY-FLOOD
After reading a couple books (over the past 2 weeks) about The Bible and how dinosaurs fit in. We talked more about the Flood and what happened to the dinosaurs. We also did this Flood Discussion Wheel and then we also did some more fun Dinosaur Sponge Capsules in water.

Volcano status update:

Filling out  the 3rd theory on the Dinosaur Extinction Theories paper:

Drawing the Ark and the Rainbow =)

THEORY-ICE AGE:
This was such a fun activity! Next time I won't put blue food coloring in to the water (before I froze the dinos in the water). I made Mia do this activity in her underwear so she wouldn't ruin her clothes.
Dinosaur Ice Cubes =)

 Free the Dinos!

Excavating!

I even made Evan his own Dinosaur Ice Block (with bigger dinos that wouldn't be a chocking hazard =)

Whoa...this is cold!

  Digging out the frozen dinosaurs!

Filing out the final theory:
 What Happened to the Dinosaurs!?
Our volcano finished and revealed a dinosaur (which will continue to grow of the next couple days =)
How did the dinosaurs become extinct? Amelia had me write this:
'Maybe the volcanoes died the dinosaurs.' SO there you have it.....according to Mia, the dinos were killed out by volcanoes =)

Playing with Lava:
